The details: There’s plenty of exhibits and interactions to delight and amaze kids at this all-night contemporary art thing, such as the all-night birthday party, the human clock and musical sing-alongs. Be sure to purchase an all-night TTC pass for your family and get the Night Navigator app.

MONTREAL

What: Kids POP

When: Saturday & Sunday

Where: Workshops held at Librairie Drawn & Quarterly Bookstore (211 Bernard Ouest), offsite events are held at the Rialto (5723 Avenue Du Parc)

The details: The kids’ programming at POP has always been amazing. This year, it includes songwriting and printing workshops, as well as performances by Fred Penner! The 5-year-olds inside us are squealing with joy.

NEW YORK CITY

What: Free Ice Cream with Lemony Snicket

When: Saturday from 12 p.m – 1 p.m.

Where: Cones (272 Bleecker Street)

Price: Free

The details: Lemony Snicket (who we interviewed for Bunchland last year) and Maira Kalman are celebrating their new book  13 Words with free ice cream. Free. Ice cream. Lemony Snicket. This sounds like a win-win situation to us, people.
