Happening this great, green weekend: Earth Day at the Zoo! Tree planting! The Monkey Bunch!  


“Party for the Planet” at the Toronto Zoo this weekend where guests like The Backyard Naturalists will be schooling on what you can do to save the planet, while zookeepers will give extra talks by the polar bear exhibit. Party on.

Earth Mudder Celebration – Celebrate Earth Day with the some of the greenest folks in the city.  Hiking, planting, hands-on cooking, gardening, tree planting and DYI bike fixing workshops – all weekend at the Brickworks. Full list of events here.

Plant a native tree in the heart of downtown at the Alexandra Park Community Tree-Planting Festival, which will have games, food (of course!) and more. Bring a spade and gloves if you have them.
