Taylor Swift’s The Best Day is hitting elementary school choirs a mere 5 months after its release. When you listen to the lyrics, it’s easy to see why. Many songs address the negative aspects of the complex parent/child relationship (see the the tedious Mom Song and the irksome Kids Version of the Mom Song). Written from a kid’s perspective, The Best Day exemplifies the positive without falling into completely sappy cliches. If there’s a tween in your bunch, expect to hear more about this song very soon!
