I don’t suppose you’ve noticed that this is Valentine’s Day? Geez, I almost miss all of the work this holiday entailed when the kids were in the early grades. All that careful handwriting and cheap and possibly toxic envelope sealant … it was enough to drive George’s fiancée to the far side. (Fun fact: The actress who played “Susan” is Heidi Swedberg, aka Sukey Jump, and she is now creating great ukulele experiences for kids and parents in L.A.)
You’d think we’d all heard enough love songs by now to despair of hearing anything fresh. But Milkshake’s breathy-sweet tune “I Love You” strikes me as the right one for parents to sing to kids today. Check out the new video montage version of the song posted here:
