Hey hardcore fans, our pal Damian Abraham of Fucked Up is on the January / February’s cover of Spin Magazine!
The annual best-of issue declares Fucked Up’s album David Comes to Life the best album of the year. The personal and passionate rock opera in four acts portrays the anguish filled romance between David, a light bulb factory worker and Veronica, an activist. It received accolades from Pitchfork, Metacritic and The A.V. Club.
He may be donning menacing makeup and a wire top hat on the cover, but we know Damien to be a proud papa who lives for hanging out with his fam and cracking up his kid, Holden. In other awesome news, he and his wife Lauren are expecting a second child! We anticipate the next few years will be filled with lots of love, wacky adventures and killer music.
