News Round-Up April 19: Bizarre, Sexualized Kids’ Products, Lessons from Divorce and a DIY Craftsman House

What we’re reading today:

1. One writer won’t put pictures of her kids up on Facebook. She has too many haters and there are too many creeps. Is she over-reacting?

2. Speaking of creepy people, who is making all these weird kid products? Seriously, who thinks up a nipple tassle t-shirt? Via Good Men Project

3. Some adults can be real jerks, you know? On the NYT‘s Motherlode blog, one writer regrets not talking back to the doctor who was making fun of her kid. How does his assistant not yell at him from time to time?

4. Could divorce make you a better parent? This mom at Babble thinks so. E.g. The first night my baby said, “Daddy?” one night when I was putting on his pajamas, I got one of those lucky, brilliant brain waves… I simply said, “Daddy’s not here right now, but he loves you. You’ll see him tomorrow.”

WTF Paris Vogue?!

Tom Ford has done fabulous things for fashion and film, and while we applaud Paris Vogue for picking such a creative mind to be their contributing editor of their December issue, we must protest.

Please Mr. Ford, stay away from our six-year-olds. And “Cadeaux?” Gross. So, so gross.

Other than that,  we were speechless when we saw these photos on BuzzFeed.
