What If Pee-Wee Herman Had Some New Adventures?

A (very talented) Pee-Wee fan made this:

AndyTDesigns likes animation, is obviously good with animation, and likes Pee-Wee. He’d like to see the Pee-Wee Herman Show come back, so he made this intro and submitted it to BoingBoing.

AndyTDesigns says, “it would be great to see a Pee Wee show based more on Pee Wee’s Big Adventure, and more episodic in nature, with P.W. solving mysteries, finding missing things, and having adventures, but along the way his playhouse friends help him as well.”

Agreed!

Costume Recipe: Pee-Wee Herman

We spent an unreasonable amount of time on today’s Costume Recipe, because we wanted to honour its subject: the beloved Pee-Wee Herman. We’ve previously posted about how much he means to us. And what better way to show it than dressing up as him this Halloween?

You will need:

A red bow tie

A grey suit (check the racks at your local thrift shop, make sure it’s at least one size too small)

White loafers and white socks (or rock the white platform shoes he wore in the infamous “Tequila” scene in Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure)

A bit of red lipstick and pink blush

A dollop of gel to slick your hair back

A red bike (though good luck finding one as awesome as Pee-Wee’s)
