Eden Hertzog is pregnant…and hungry
Ever notice how fall really makes its mark? Within a week, I’ve gone from putting my head in the freezer to cool off to wearing a long sweater and listening to Neil Young’s Harvest Moon. This year, fall has a different theme for me because it means that I am actually going to give birth to a baby, as opposed to growing one inside.
Last week, when the first cool winds breezed through, I realized that I never made that peach pie I always love to make when the peaches are perfect here in Ontario. My husband and I were going to have dinner at our friends’ new house, and I said I would bring dessert. I wanted it to be quick, easy and peach-themed (peach pie wasn’t going to happen). I remembered that a gallette is a great alternative.
