Summer’s here. We totally got a glimpse of it this weekend, which means it’s time to hit up the monkey bars and your favourite climbing tree. Or maybe strap on a backpack, grab some trail mix and head to one of those large natural beauty-type parks. Or maybe you’re more of a toss a coin in a fountain person. Parks Canada is celebrating its centennial anniversary this year, which we think is more than enough reason for us to celebrate it too. But with 42 national parks and a whole whack of national historic sites, how do you decide which ones your family will love, and which ones they’ll really really love? Andrew Campbell, Parks Canada Director General of Visitor Experience, knows a lot about these parks. He’s been taking his three kids (aged 8, 15 and 17) to Canada’s national parks and historic sites all their lives.
