Krista Rao blogs about crafty adventures with her kids
I save bottle caps. There, I said it. I save them for a variety of projects that I never really get around to… until now.
This weekend we used a very small portion of my caps to make watercolour cakes. As with my other tutorials, this is a very easy craft that you can make along side your kids and provides a lot of fun for everyone.
What you need:
- 1 tbsp clear vinegar
- 1 tbsp baking soda
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1/2 tsp corn syrup
- food colouring
- bottle caps
