What we’re reading today:

1. “Stepmom” doesn’t exactly bring warm fuzzies to mind, so what do you call her? Dad’s wife? Whatever her first name happens to be? Channel LeAnn Rimes and go with “bonus mom”?

2. Heights, spiders and the dark don’t have anything on this dad’s fear of  chickening out in front of his daughter.

3. When you’re missing trips to the Cinematheque and post-dinner drinks with friends, remind yourself that you just might be having more fun now that you’re a parent.
