This week the American Library Association (ALA) released their annual Top Ten list of Most Frequently Challenged Books. The list is the ALA’s compilation of, what to their knowledge are, the books most attempted to get banned. A sobering thought; the ALA says, since they are not aware of all book banning efforts, it’s likely the actual list is four or five times larger than what they know about.
