7:00 a.m. September 14, 2011. Almost every family in the Toronto or East York district had the date and time burned into brains, paper, Google and smart phone calendars. Yours truly knows she needs two iCal alerts, the word “registration” inked on her hand, and her partner to yell “Meri go down and register now” as the alarm goes off in the morning. (Now that we have a system, we’re one of those “on the ball families.” It feels good.)
