THE FAM: Kindie superstars Lucky Diaz and Alisha Gaddis of Lucky Diaz and the Family Jam Band, and Lucky’s daughter Ella. Alisha told us that all the music in their house is kids’ music. “We love music, and we expose Ella to everything from Stevie Ray Vaughn to the Beach Boys, Maria Callas to Broken Bells. Lucky Diaz and the Family Jam Band is one of our favourite kindie acts! It makes a certain amount of sense that Lucky and Alisha would want to share a love of the arts with their family.
What’s that about? They are a divine series introducing children to art and artists through fun— portraying the artists as REAL people with delightful illustrations, cartoons and famous artworks.

Watch this video and you, too, will be feeling the vibe. It has Etsy scrawled all over it and I love, love, love the homemade goodness and down-home funk. I heart me some “Blue Bear.” Read more...
