The Irish have a saying: Giorraìonn beirt bòthar. It means, literally, “two shorten the road” and refers to the fact that sharing conversation and stories with a friend can make a journey seem shorter, more pleasant. Well-loved Montreal storyteller, Hobbes (a.k.a. John David Hickey) uses this sentiment to title his biweekly podcast.  Each podcast is a recording of one of his storytelling engagements. Stories range from traditional legends to outrageous lies, all told in an engaging, lively manner.
