Tweenbots

Tweenbots are cute little cardboard robots with a mission: traverse the streets of New York, moving from point a to point b relying on a little help from your friends. Tweenbot’s friends, in this case, are ordinary passers by. Tweenbots can only move in a straight line, and are easily stopped dead by small obstacles. Each one bears a flag asking for help and stating their destination. The point of the project is to see if people will take time out to help, and they do! Our bunch is completely charmed by them, and watching the project unfold has provided lots of opportunities to talk about our assumptions about human nature. Check out a video after the jump.
