What we’re reading today:
1. Should we be worrying about 5-year-olds who dye their hair? One psychologist says it’s just fine for Gwen Stefani to dye her kid’s hair blue as long as he’s not pushing other boundaries like bedtime.
2. Today in luxury baby goods: the $3, 500 crib. Yes, it’s quite pretty to look at, but couldn’t it maybe really mess with a baby’s developing sense of space and security?
3. Is Facebook good for kids? Bad? A recent study found that while the social networking site helped kids develop their identities, its usage is linked to lower grades in school.
4. Could you help develop your kid’s palate before they’re even born? Maybe.
