What Comes Next In the Vote Against Kids?

The Elementary Teacher Federation of Ontario’s new TV spots:

OK, the ETFO definitely has something up their sleeves and with this latest campaign ads, but what? These seemingly negative “vote against kids” ads are definitely setting something up. We Don’t Like the People With Those Kind of Lawn Signs: Talking to Our Kids About Politics

Meri Perra blogs about the challenges she and her partner face in trying to raise their girls with feminist values

We’re probably all tired of election recap this late in the game. So I’ll make my talk brief:

The morning after, as I walked around double-checking news sources to make sure I had fully understood what had happened (Quebec), mom brain and all (Quebec!), I had two separate conversations with friends. Their emotional reaction to the election surprised me. Both have professions rooted in the sciences. They are both married to men and are not particularly politically involved, although they are definitely informed. Both were extremely unhappy about our new government.

Also, in very different ways, they had talked to their preschool-aged children about the election.
