Well, hi there! My name is Amberly and I am a kids’ music DJ. I do a program called Ages 3 and Up! out of WRFL FM in Lexington KY, and I am here to tell you about a couple of bands I ADORE. One of the really cool things about what I do is that I get exposed to a lot of very high quality music for kids and I get to play that kind of music every week on my show. But what’s even more cool than that is that listeners sometimes call in to my program and request music from new, wonderful bands making music outside the kids’ music genre that I might not yet have heard. Every now and then, one of those bands will fit SO well with what I play that they’ll become a regular part of Ages 3 and Up!. The Carolina Chocolate Drops are becoming one of those bands.
