Rose Bianchini is pregnant with twins
In the whirlwind of getting used to the idea of having twins (still not used to it), I had totally forgotten about the whole baby shower ritual. Thanks goodness we have friends willing to help us take on this afternoon shin-dig. It’s not only a chance to get the stuff we need to survive the first year of babyland, it’s also a chance to show our friends and family who we plan to be as parents. Our shower is not women only, we’re encouraging recycled/used toys and clothes, cloth and wooden toys are preferred, nothing loud and blinking that uses batteries. And, oh yeah, we’re asking people to think beyond boy toys. No need for them to be uber-gendered right out of the womb, or ever really.
