Creating a collage is a fantastic art making process – limitless possibilities and a collaborative project for the entire family. The actual process is simple – collect inspiring images, then cut, paste, and re-assemble the pieces in to a new, imaginative work.

Steps:
- Flip through a magazine and tear out the images you find most interesting.
- Then, browse your collection of tear sheets and choose a) a background page and b) your favourite images.
- Cut and trim your favourite images
- Now you have a background page and a collection of trimmed images. Take some time to experiment with the placement of pieces on the background. The collage should tell a story – consider your characters, location, and activity.
- Have fun! No need to strive for perfection, the best part of a collage is the playful and whimsical creation.
