Bunchland creative director Rebecca Brown‘s snowy Bunchbrary
Discovering a fresh blanket of snow in your backyard inspires all kinds of creativity, from snow-fort architecture to becoming a kind of Geppetto making all manner of snow creatures. (Especially if said blanket causes a snow day.) It’s no wonder (Snow wonder? Too much?) that aggregates of ice crystals also inspire writers and illustrators to play around. So here’s our list of snow-themed books to read in anticipation of a snow day, after a solid snow-angel session over a cup of hot chocolate, or maybe just to compensate for a lack of snow in your area.
