News Round-Up March 25: Let the Kids Name the Other Kids, Putting Them on Leashes and Birthing Tourism

What we’re reading today:

1. Walking into the subway station this morning, we spied a young mom holding onto her 3-year-old by means of a tiger-striped leash. We’ve never put a kid on a leash, but figured it’s really about knowing what’s best for your own kids. Judith Goldberg at Parents magazine asserted her opinion saying that leashes are for dogs. 2. One couple exhausted all their favourite girl names on their twin daughters… so when another baby girl came along, they let the twins help out. On Parentcentral.ca

3. So there’s such a thing as birthing tourism? Are we so out of the loop that we hadn’t really heard about this? And we’re not talking illegal immigrants who want their kids to be legal Canadian or U.S. residents, we mean rich Chinese parents traveling to California birthing centres. Via Jezebel
