At what point do I give up and get rid of my pre-pregnancy jeans? I told myself I would when my son turned one, but there they are, taunting me in the drawer under pairs of black tights as my toddler approaches 18 months.

I don’t miss much about my manual labour job now that I’m in school for a career I will enjoy, but I do miss those manual labour muscles. The toned arms for slugging cases of beverages. The shelf butt from walking laps around the warehouse. I’m not saying I look like a wad of chewed up Hubba-Bubba here, but if I was to wear those jeans it’d look like I was blowing a bubble out of the top of my Hudsons.
