Last night’s episode featured Michael Hitchcock, whom you may have seen in any Christopher Guest movies, as Mr. Bob, and the awesome Missi Pyle as Kayla’s mom.
OK. So Reagan’s been researching baby classes and finds that Mr. Bob is the best. Reagan and Chris are initially a little skeptical (“He’s got a Ph.D in Peekaboo!” “And a Masters in Got Your Nose”) but immediately see that he is indeed the best. Mr Bob gets the Brinkleys to work on their Peekaboo and it seems like it’s really paying off!
At the Ava studio, Ava’s sad/annoyed/angry that Reagan’s at such a different life stage as her what with the baby and all. When Reagan bails after one drink when they’re out to see an all-drag queen Bangles cover band, Ava is not pleased. So not pleased that she dangles an invite to Reagan’s favourite designer’s party in Reagan’s face, but gives the extra ticket (and speech-writing duty) to her assistant Missy.
