Artable
A great and totally doable art project from We Are That Family

Projects involving melting crayons are probably our favourite. We totally dig the psychedelic melty rainbow thing that We Are That Family created for their last night of summer. (Thankfully we Canadians still have a couple weeks before school starts!) Can’t wait to try this out with different colour palettes and angles.
Here’s how to make your own
mother's day
No paint = no mess (Well, less mess anyway)

This neato project from Kids and Glitter would make a great Mother’s Day gift with either a homemade or inexpensively acquired picture frame. And of course, the flower vase is merely a Mother’s Day-friendly suggestion; have kids draw whatever they think would make Mom happy. The only special artsy material here is watercolour paper — it’s available at art supply stores, online, or in the crafty section of well-stocked department/big box store. Don’t forget to have kids sign and date their creations!
You’ll need:
- Watercolour paper
- Tissue paper (in different colours, torn into small pieces)
- Paint brush

- Pencil
- Permanent marker
Steps: Read more...
