The ABCs of Summer

A-B-C, it’s easy as 1-2-3!

The ABCs aren’t just for the school year. There’s always lots to do in these sunny summer days, and the alphabet lessons that your kindergartners will learn in September just might help you keep track of the best ones. We asked our amazing Twitter and Facebook peeps for their favourites, and here you have ‘em!

A is for Archaeology digs in the backyard. Everyone can make and bury “artifacts” and when you dig up each others’ sites, you’ll have to guess when/where the artifacts are from. Or you can always see what’s actually in your backyard. Old buttons? Disintegrating newspaper? An ancient burial ground?

B is for Butterflies and bugs to discover. –Stephanie

Get down near the ground to see the creepy-crawlies or jump up into the air to watch the butterflies flutter by.
