Snails, Leaning In
What conjures up beauty the way that seeing the world the way you did as a child, even for a moment, does?
It’s the magical experience that taking care of children — or spending just a few hours or minutes in their world — can bring you. It’s why we gasp in pleasure and delight when presented with the exquisite photos of Ukrainian photographer Vyacheslav Mishchenko, capturing small moments like water dripping from a stem, or snails leaning in to sip water from a flower petal.
Because we remember seeing the world this way too when we were small.
You can read a lovely interview about the making of the ‘snail kiss’ photographs here in the Daily Mail.
