Lego Calendar for Your Family
Thanks to a London, UK-based design firm, organizing your family’s lives may become fun.
Vitamins Design has created a wall-sized Lego calendar. Time is organized by snapping bricks into the right slot on a board representing a three-month period. Each row represents a person, each column represents a day, and each colour represents a different project the firm is working on. At Vitamins, each brick represents half a work day.
But here’s what takes the Lego calendar over the top: simply snap a picture of the updated calendar with your smartphone and email it to a specific address. Voilà, your Lego calendar is synched with the online calendar of your choice.
Bonus: each staff (or in our scenario, family member) has their own Lego mini-figure to place on the calendar.
With some tinkering, this Lego Calendar can really be yours, since Vitamins wrote the sync software using an open-source code and has plans to release it online.
Once that happens, you’ll be able to Lego brick snap your way to organization. The only thing you’ll have to decide is which mini-fig to use.
