Oh Help! Oh No! It’s A Gruffalo!
If you happen to know a Gruffalo lover then you are in luck! Unlike the Snuffleupagus of your youth, the Gruffalo intends to make himself known: not once, but twice in these winter months.
Our friends at StoryMobs will be hosting another great live and interactive event where they will engage with all things Gruffalo. This event is special because they are combining forces with The Toronto Public Library of North York and Small Print Toronto for a live and interactive performance of the beloved book.
On Saturday, January 25 join the StoryMobs crew at 1 p.m. in the North York Central Library at 5120 Yonge Street for the mustering and rehearsal. Bring a costume or a prop, anything that can contribute to the fun! There will also be a crafting session happening at 11:00 a.m. in meeting room 1, sponsored by the folks at Small Print. If you’re looking for costume or sign ideas visit the StoryMobs website for more information.
At 2 p.m. the live, interactive performance will begin and, who knows? Maybe you’ll see a real Gruffalo!
If you can’t make it to the StoryMob, never fear, you can still meet a real live Gruffalo at the wildly popular and Sixth annual Totsapalooza:
Did you read the poster? That’s right, Julia Donaldson — who WROTE The Gruffalo — will be there! There will be LIVE MUSIC and a REAL GRUFFALO. Do I sound excited?
Totsapalooza sells out every year, so do yourself a favour and get your tickets now. This event is so popular that they are hosting it at two separate times on the same day, so don’t get confused when you’re buying tickets.
Will we see you there?
