Iron man? Xena Warrior Princess? One drawer decided to choose herself for a portrait of strength.
We admire Hannah Potter’s gumption. This week, she drew two pictures. A big bedtime bear really steals the show in the first, her portrayal of a someone strong. Hannah chose to depict herself. When her mom asked why, Hannah replied that she’s a big good sister and she’s nice to people. You go, girl.
In her second picture, Hannah stands alone. Perhaps to be interpreted as a symbol of strength? We think so.
Speaking of someone strong, make sure you get those sponsored dollars into the Stephen Lewis Foundation! With only 6 days left of Dare to Draw, you and your kid can pat yourself on the back for a job well done so far. How time flies when you’re having fun for a good cause.
