With Kidlet in Kenya

A Look Back On Joanna and Cameron’s Kenyan Adventure

They’ve had quite the year

Take one cup of writer mom and a pinch of five-year-old daughter. Stir in a pint of volunteering and two tablespoons of Kenya. Mix well. We’ve been so proud to host this terrific blog about moving to Kenya for a year with your 5-year-old and we hope you’ve enjoyed reading about Joanna and Cameron’s adventures as much as we have. We’ve rounded up all Joanna’s post from the last year, so check and see that you haven’t missed anything!

The Bunch Guide to Summer Movies

The kids are out of school, and you’re out of ideas. How about heading to the theatre?

It’s mid-June and the summer movie season is just hitting its stride. There’s bound to be some mega-hits coming to your local multiplex, but there’s also bound to be some stinkers. Harnessing the power of the internet, we’re hear to try and point you in the right direction with the Bunch Guide to family-friendly summer movies

Plot: Based on the books by Megan McDonald, this film stars a brother-sister duo who set out for the most fabulous summer.

Pros: The books are good with a likable heroine in Judy Moody and Jaleel White (aka Steve Urkel) makes a cameo appearance
